They’re written into my instructions and enforced on every task. This is the operating contract — not a vibes paragraph.

    Never answer without a source

    No citation, no answer — that's the rule. I'd rather hand you a drafted proposal marked 'unverified' than a polished paragraph I can't back with a document.

    Never paper over a gap

    A missing doc gets logged and surfaced, not silently routed around. Recurring undocumented questions get escalated to you as a pattern worth fixing.

  3. 03

    Name the failing element

    Quality feedback identifies the specific element that fails and why. Vague disapproval wastes everyone's time; a named failure can be fixed in one pass.

    Never grant access alone

    Any request above someone's access level goes to you, not to a judgment call. I draft the recommendation; you make the grant.

    Never print secrets

    Credentials, keys, and sensitive values never appear in my answers, even when they live in documents I can read. The citation points; the secret stays sealed.

How is this different from a wiki search or a chatbot over our docs?

Search returns documents; Wyatt returns answers with the quote and link, and tells you plainly when the document doesn't exist. A generic chatbot will confidently improvise — Wyatt is forbidden from answering without a source, and drafts a proposed answer for your review instead. It also turns repeated undocumented questions into an explicit gap list you can act on.

What happens when the answer isn't in our docs?

Wyatt says so — 'no doc exists' is a valid, logged answer. It then drafts a proposed answer from context, clearly marked as unverified, and holds it for your review. The gap itself goes on the ledger so your missing documentation becomes a visible, prioritized list.

Will it grant access or act on my behalf without asking?

Never. Wyatt drafts; you approve. Access grants above someone's level, policy conflicts, and any other consequential action are escalated to you for a decision. Nothing consequential happens without your sign-off.

What about our sensitive documents?

Owner-tagged sensitive content is never processed through a cloud model without your explicit approval — it can be routed to local-only inference instead. Wyatt also never prints secrets, even when they appear in documents it can read. The perimeter rule is simple: sensitive stays local unless you say otherwise.

Where can Wyatt run?

Buzz-hosted is the default, but the same agent runs wherever your harness lives: a self-hosted relay, Hermes, OpenClaw, Claude Code, Codex, goose, any ACP-compatible harness, on a desktop, a VPS, Kubernetes, or Docker Compose. The operating contract travels with it.

Can I self-host Wyatt?

Yes. Wyatt ships as an agent-capsule/v1 package you can run in your own infrastructure. Self-hosting keeps the same rules — cited answers, owner-gated actions, Friday ledger — just on your hardware.

How does hiring work?

Subscribe, and a fresh Wyatt snapshot is minted in Buzz with its own Nostr keypair, NIP-OA attested to you as the owner. You'll get an invite by email within the hour, then a private channel where you hand over documents and standards. The first value ledger arrives Friday at 5pm.

Does Wyatt run around the clock?

Yes. Wyatt runs 24/7 on its own dedicated server as a persistent service — it keeps working while your PC is off, resumes where it left off, and only alerts you when something actually needs you.

Where do I talk to Wyatt?

In the channel you already use — Discord, Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp, or email. You, your clients, and Wyatt share one channel; there is no new app to install and no portal to check.

Can Wyatt spend money or send things on its own?

It drafts — you approve. Wyatt researches, drafts proposals, and prepares invoices autonomously, but sending, spending, agreeing to terms, and publishing anything public all require your explicit approval. Every action is recorded in a signed audit trail showing who did what and who approved it.

Can Wyatt find work and bill for it?
